99 crown Victoria lx

Asked by joc Feb 06, 2017 at 09:22 AM about the 1999 Ford Crown Victoria 4 Dr LX Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I'm driving with the heat on it starts to
sputter, I'll have to pull over and start it back up and
it's fine. I'm not sure if that's it or not because when
I put gas in it it does it more often. Can someone
give me an idea of what it could be.

I'm thinking more on the line of possible EVAP Canister and purge valve, that is if you over fill your gas tank. You are suppose to stop refueling on the first click on the gas pump nozzle. But also it would be a good idea to have the vehicle scanned for any trouble codes.
