Blowing 20A fuel pump fuse at key start position, 20 fuses so far

Asked by Jul 17, 2017 at 03:36 PM about the 1993 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck died while driving.  Wiggling the wiring harness in the engine got it
going again, but that was it. Hasnt run since.   I've unplugged everything in
the engine compartment coming off the positive terminal but when I hook up
just the power distribution fuse block to power, the 20A fuel pump fuse blows
hard.  The fuel pump isn't even plugged in.
