Why does my mustang shut off when i turn on the head lights?

the car starts fine but when i try to turn on the lights it dies

Here's a wild guess. Open your hood with the car running & the lights off. Have someone else turn on your lights on & listen to your alternator. Maybe the alternator is loading your engine & causing it to shut off.

Ground wire on passenger side by radiator. Clean it off
