My car start up but when I hit the gas it dont move?trouttle body scre broke could tgat be why?

The car starts up fine but it wont move
when I step on the gas padle? Why please
help

perhaps the TPS is disconnected...were you 'splainin stuff to people and perhaps knocked the TPS connector off? this item is on the throttle and has a connection to the gas pedal....have to research if this is a "cable-less" system with a tps and an accelerator position sensor~...but one got disconnected~

It is conected I try unplugging and plugging back in and it still dont work could it be something else?

what else do you suppose it is? this is like two wires...perhaps three...not at all complicated..."bench test" to see if it still works okay at the workbench would be my suggestion...replace the harness if the connector is all jacked up~ you can always get car parts at pickNpull or U-pull...take an afternoon...find a suitable donor vehicle and rescue your own in a most Frankenstinian fashion~

The trottle body idle screw broke. Idk if that would cause that problem. is a screw on the right hand side of the trouble body it ajust the idle

I have a 2006 Ford Mustang GT. And its starts great but when in driving hear it wont go nor will it go in reverse. But it will drive in 1,2,3 gear. What does this mean
