radio not turning off when the key is off and door is open

I recently changed my front door since the previous owner dented it. everything
works great but the radio wont turn off when i open the door. what is causing
this to happen and how do i fix it?

if i was to open any other door the radio turns off. just the driver door seams to not turn it off. i wonder if i switch out the original locking mechanism form the original door.

I will definitely try to switch out the lock mechanism from the original door and try. I will post the updates. Thanks
