Chevy Trailblazer dies

I have a 2006 chevy trailblazer that just randomly dies. Sometimes I can pop it into neutral and it'll start right back up. Other times I have to pull off the road and wait about 2 mins before it'll restart. I lose all power to the engine and all my gages drop and I lose power steering. it does it without warning and while I am driving. I get a check engine light and another one that looks like a check engine with a down arrow. From what I read, it's loss of power. No one can tell me what's going on and I've taken it to 3 different people! Can anyone help?!?!?

I would tried the fuel pump relay first and easiest task. I doubt this person will even read this. The relay is a bit cheaper than the filter. Just an opinion for a very old post
