ABS light is on, wont shut off

My Chevy has had it's ABS light on for a full day and it won't shut off. No other light is on. What could be the issue?

I would agree to check fluid first, and then you may need a shop to scan system to evaluate. Often times it may be as simple as a wheel speed sensor, which is a "normal" repair these days on most vehicles.

Regular OBD2 code checkers don't scan for ABS codes but you can buy code checkers that will but they run around $200.
