Noise coming from under my 2004 Chevy trailblazer

Hi I have a 2004 Chevy trail blazer
underneath you can hear like a
raddleing noise and now if I start my
truck u can hear like a knock like
something is lifting up and dropping
and it will stop after that one knock
please help it's driving me crazy

It could be a number of things however my first thought would be the exhaust system. They tend to rattle after years of use, and sometimes the connections do corrode and loosen. The reason it may stop after sometime is because the exhaust system gets very hot and the metal expands, stopping the rattling. To be sure, I would run it by Midas or some other reputable shop and just ask them to take a look. Usually there is no charge. Best of luck!
