2000 Chevy tracker won't start. Could it be the fuel filter?

Asked by RiverWoody23 Mar 09, 2019 at 05:26 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We've replaced the fuel pump and tried a
few other tricks including starter
fluid....which worked a few times. But now
we just can't get it to start at all. Could it be
the fuel filter? Or plugs? Stranded in the
desert now. Can walk to town if we know
what we need

Starter fluid can ignite without spark giving you the impression its a fuel related issue, check for spark
