check engine light on

Check Engine light came on, took it to Autozone, and code came with O2 sensors (all four) were bad. This does not make sense to me for all 4 to go bad at the same time. I asked if they can reset the code, but they said it was illegal to do so. My next move is to disconnect the battery and see what happens. Any thoughts?

Other problems could be causing it to think all four are bad. Typically it is something emission related like the a blown fuse on something like the 02 sensor heaters. What error code do it give?

i would just like 2 know how to reset the engine light! does anybody know how?
You can do it with a code scanning tool or by unhooking the battery for a few minutes.
I do not have an answer but I did change all four sensors in my 06 Silverado hd. I can make the light go off with my scanner and it will stay off all day. Park the truck overnight start again and will come back on. Mine says Bank 1 sensor 2 is bad but it is new.
