I have a 2005 silverado 2500HD gas engine, 6.0- engine. will it tow a 5th wheel

Yes it will. Anything over 12,000 pounds on that truck is asking a lot. If you tow over 10,000 pounds on a regular basis it is time for a Duramax!

I researched your OM and found this *Fifth-wheel or gooseneck kingpin weight should be 15 percent to 25 percent of trailer weight up to 3,000 lbs (1 361 kg) maximum. Thanks gmtech51 and Michael!! You guys always come through with quality assistance. Marlea Wilson GM Customer Service
