Go back inside and underneath and look for lose wires or wires that are attached incorrectly. Like T_S_T asked, does the engine turn over or just dead. Check wires from the ignition switch.

I have a 93 with same problem. It turns over but will not start. Checked everything & at a complete loss as to why it just won't start! It definitely tries to!!!
