2001 Chevy Silverado No Crank but battery

Asked by Matt Jan 22, 2020 at 06:59 AM about the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD LS Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 Chevy Silverado No crank no start but the
battery and the dash lights still come on when I
turn the key over everything on the dash just goes
out.  No clicking nothing sound in the dashboard.
I've checked all the relays and fuses in the box
under the hood all seem to be good.  I don't think
it's a security because it just didn't start the other
day after running fine since I got it.  I'm getting
ready to check the grounds right now.  I'm not a
mechanic by any means so any ideas are
welcome.. It's not the starter either.

Could even be a bad ignition switch. You'll have to troubleshoot your 'no start condition' to narrow it down.
