Where is the back-up lamp switch located in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab?

Back up lights don't work after a short from a broken wire connected to an aftermarket back up camera.

Check for ground and solid clean connections. Do you have power to the lights?, Did you check the light bulb to make sure it is working?

The fuse test as being good. I don't have power to either back-up lamp. The bulbs are good (filaments are not burned). No power to the socket. This is why I'm looking for the switch itself to see if it's the problem.

Try the transmission linkage or shift linkage for the switch.
