where is the ignition switch located on my 2004 silverado

Asked by James Sep 28, 2013 at 07:58 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Extended Cab RWD

My ignition switch does not always work I know it is in the stearing colum somewhere but
just cant locate . If i keep turning the key cylender on and off it wil eventually kick in I
know it needs to be replaced but dont know where it is .

The hole you put the key in..that IS the ignition switch.... now if you mean ignition relay, I will look for an image or description

2002 Silverado..click on this also..it's a better image you will see starter relay and ignition relay
