Manual transmission problem

Getting a screeching sound from my 94
ranger 5 speed. It seems like something is
hitting on the inside of the transmission. It's
like the shifter isn't lining up properly. Please
help, love this little truck!!!

Have you checked the fluid condition and level in the transmission?
