Truck wont crank

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replace the steering column in my truck and now it
will not crank the fuel pump seems to be not
working but it was working fine prior to swapping
the steering column it seems as if it may be
something to do with the security system is there
anyway to bypass this

Nope, theft deterrent system for ignition is attached to the steering column u changed out. Reads the key to confirm its signal matches what's stored in the PCM and usually the instrument cluster. Bottom line...get it towed to a dealership and let them know u need your key programmed to your "new" steering column.
