i have 265/75r16 tires on my 2000 chev silverado 1500.could i put 17
size tires on? this is something i really need to know to save some
money .things are tough right now.thank you
Changing from 16 inch to 17 inch tires requires different wheels. 16 inch tires can only be mounted on 16 inch wheels. 17 inch tires require a 17 inch wheel. Do some shopping around.
Bob, Does that mean you can put 17" wheels on a 2000 chev Silverado that comes with 16"?
"Bob, Does that mean you can put 17" wheels on a 2000 chev Silverado that comes with 16"? " My guess would be yes, depending on the tire size. My 2002 Yukon XL Denali has 285/70r17s on it, (original stock tire size) but the spare is a 285/75r16, which the owners manual says is the same circumference as the 17s.
