Two thousand Chevy transmission

I put a transmission that was working great
in my 2000 Chevy pickup and when I put it
in gear nothing happens like I don’t even
have a transmission

You have fluid in it? Did you put the torque converter it correctly? Did somebody take the trans filter out?
