Speed limiter- 2000 Silverado

So I have been searching the Internet
and my owners manual for a
reputable source to state if my 2000
Silverado has a factory installed
speed limiter and if so, at what
speed does it get cut off at. I have
seen many forums backing this up
but I need the information to present
so that is why I am looking for some
concrete proof. Thanks all!

There is a good chance that it does. My 2002 Ford cuts off at 100 mph. Aftermarket programmers can remove speed limiters.

Most gm trucks are at 100. You know there is a way to test this right? Lol.
