my 1999 silverado 4.8 reg cab brake lights wont work checked fuses and bulbs

taken to mechanics but couldn't figure out replaced fuse box in front was wondering if there was a switch or sensor under dash or wherever wiring seems ok is there something I could be missing to check

When you apply the brake lights, is there any electrical current in the wires at the lights? If there is, it may be a ground wire issue. make sure all ground wires are working. If you have power to the fuse box and out of the box but not to the brake lights, there is an op;en wire between the two connections. This should be a quick test ande fix if they are aware of what they are doing.
