Does anyone have advice for putting a 96 2.3L in a 94 Ranger?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I removed the original 94 engine from the truck and am currently working on the 96
engine. The problem I have right now is with the crank shaft sensor, which has a different
hook up and position in the 96. Does anyone have any advice? Is there some kind of
adapter I could use? The 94 sensor has four wires going into the plug, but the 96 has only
two. Thanks for any advice.

'96 sensor will need to be used. Can try contacting 410fortune over at rangerforums.com - he has done this multiple times and can probably tell you how the wiring needs to be connected
