1999 chevy silverado wont start

All the lights come on as does the radio but it will not crank at all.

try to short the starter. take a screwdriver and bridge the two posta on rhe starter.

check your battery connections and clean them, my 03 did the same thing after I checked and cleaned all connections I havent had any problems
