Thanks for the info. How does it effect engine optimization? Is it part of the rich/lean fuel to air ratio?

This Monty Carl has an issue that I haven't been able to find. It will not start and idle without giving slight acceleration. Let off, and it dies. I've replaced the mas ,purge valve, carbon filter, both cat sensors, checked the pressure regulator, cleaned the ground connections, looked for damage to the wires ...I'm stumped.

I've also replaced the egr valve and all I get is a reoccurring torque circuit code. I've checked the body control module as well. Looked over the abs control module and...no improvement.

This goose chase started with a up stream cat sensor code, then down stream, then several different egr codes. Service track light then track off. This is why I was looking at the bumper. I was checking out the grounds for poor contact.
