1996 Monte Carlo Z34

I just bought a 1996 Monte Carlo Z34 today and when I was driving it I started to feel heat about 30 min. into the
drive.  Then white smoke start coming from underneath the hood.  I need this car to transport me between Work,
school, and home..SOMEONE HELP!!!!

hey you have a coolant leak most likely a hole in a coolant hoe. or sadly it could be the head gasket leaking on the exhaust manifold. good thing is that if you see white smoke it mean that it's nothing internal. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR until you found the leak or else you might seize the engine. hope it help's. goood luck

I agree you have a coolant leak or a siezed water pump/alternator smoking a belt - A smell here would help. Is it a syrupy sweet smelling smoke or is it a rubbery ( smoking tires :O) ) type smell. Either should not be driven and towed to your local trusted mechanic.
