Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2005 chev Malibu. Car died while driving. Had alt
tested and tested fine. Battery is brand new but not
charging. Battery tested fine as well but not
charging. Any ideas?

IF battery is good. IF alt tested OK. But still not charging, it may be the voltage regulator. U may need 2 buy a rebuilt alternator and replace the whole alternator. Check with your local auto parts store. Google UR car make/model and altenator and voltage regulator 4 mo specific help. Many public libraries provide free web access if that's an issue.

Turns out it was just a bad ground and it killed the battery
