Throttle power

Asked by Miller1994 Oct 31, 2016 at 06:43 PM about the 1994 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 94 ford ranger with a 3.0 v6. I can start and
rev full rpms but when I  put it in gear it hesitates to
get moving and eventually opens up to more power
does anyone know what could be wrong?

Check timing, could be that it needs a tune up, try using higher octane fuel. Does it do it all the time or only when cold or warm?
