Make sure that your bulb is actually there.. check by turning your key to the power on position without starting the vehicle. Look at your dash and make sure your airbag, check engine, etc lights are illuminating. Could be the bulb is burnt out or MISSING(some dishonest sellers have been known to pull out bulbs) Any basic mechanic should be able to fix this issue for you.
