Does a 2000 Ford ranger have motor compatibility with a 94 Ranger

My original question was what transmission
compatibliity there was for my 94 Ranger .I have
found a 2000 Ford ranger with a good tranny and t
case but the motor is hydrolocked. Will the motor
from my 94 Ranger match up to the 2000 Ranger?

Not really. There are engine control issues (ECU and OBD1 vs OBD2) that will cause you problems even if both trucks have the "same" engine (which are really not the same).
