where is fuse location for cigarette lighter

Asked by barney333 Oct 12, 2014 at 06:41 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Astro Cargo Extended RWD

I checked all the fuses inside the engine compartment and could find none blown, is there
another location for the cigarette lighter fuse as I have no voltage there but do have at the
aux. plugins.

Oft times the courtesy fuse is the cigarette lighter fuse. Or , if the cigarette lighter is on the dog house cover, the last person who was working on the engine didn't plug the cigarette lighter harness connector back in.

under the driver side dash just to the left of the steering wheel is a plastic box marked fuses. If you pull a little plastic door down from the top it will show you a sticker with all the fuse identifications on it, it's a 20 amp fuse I just changed mine because of a bad cigarette lighter
