How do I use the tool to take off the inline fuel filter on my 1994 Ford Explorer

If you have the plastic tool, ditch it and purchase a metal one for a few bucks more. Be careful, even if the pressure is relieved on the fuel system, the fuel will leak out of the filter once one side of the line is removed.
