4.6L 1995 Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Someone hooked and jumped my battery
backwards (I know very dumb) and fried almost
everything. There isn't a fuse able link that I
could find. I replaced the altinator and battery
as well had them both tested not only in a parts
store but a shop. They can't figure out the
problem always saying it's the altinator. I
replaced all fuses all relays and the car still
won't hold a charge. Any ideas?

There is a fusible link, look on the starter solenoid. All modern cars have fusible links to prevent wiring harnesses from burning up when do things like hooking up jumper cables wrong, lol.

There is a main fuse on the power distrbution box by baytery. Fuse panel. There is also 3 or 4 fusable links in front of nattery
