After market cam.

I bought an 84 Corvette that had an
engine swap. 3 months befor I bought.
I was told I have a 352 motor now. It
has .40 ring kit says hp cam. Milled
heads. Bore and hone heads, polished
crank shaft. But manifold looks stock
and carb is a Rochester quad.  But I
havent looked it up if cold and
sometimes when warmed up. To start
the car other dont touch gas pedal or
floor it for 1 1/2 or so. My question is
what size cam would be a mild up
grade? And should I look at dual plane
manifold and new carb to get a good
muscle car lope outta it. Its mainly  toy
but I like to take outta town 50 mabye
100 miles without owning Exxon.  Any
advice would be appreciated
