How many pace cars were made with Option MM4

I saw somewhere a detail of how many 1978 Corvette Pace cars were made with an L82 and RPO MM4 (4 speed manual transmission).  Any idea where I can get the information or what the number is?

Dear pacecarguy-- There were 6,502 Indy Pace Corvettes sold in 1978. Originally Chevrolet planned to build 2,500, but demand was so great that they built more. Even at the higher production number, The Wall Street Journal advised their readers that buying one was a good investment. As for the MM4 transmission, it was not listed as an option until 1979.
