Indistinct humming or dragging

Asked by Apr 27, 2017 at 08:35 AM about the 1996 Honda CR-V LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Honda CRV RD1 1996 constant 4WD that I have had for 2 years.  I have just replaced all the tyres and belts on it recently too as well as the rack, knuckles and tie rod ends.  Having just returned from its first long haul trip I am noticing a dragging on acceleration or deceleration (not on braking) - it is not even really audible as a noise, but just a strange feeling - not quite a vibration but similar.  I almost feel like I am going mental trying to describe it, but it never used to be there, and definitely does not feel right.

Might be the drive line, check the transfer case. Maybe a wheel bearing?
