2002 CR-V running great, I drive like an old man, Oh, I am old man.  Owned for 4 months. 81K miles.  Replaced o-ring on vtc oil control solenoid valve with factory o-ring.  Solenoid looked very clean.  Car still running great.  Check engine light comes on. P0011 code.  Cleaned vtc connector, reset ECM.  Check engine light comes on again?  Reset ECM, check engine light comes on again?   Engine oil and filter changed 1 month ago.  5W 20 Mobile One.

I removed VTC oil control solenoid valve today to bench test it per shop manual. When I installed it on May 09 above, it slipped right in and was torqued to spec. This is what I got today (see photo). I answered my own question above. I am thinking my install must have done this? How can I not do this again?

Do not apply any sidewards pressure while sliding that bad boy in. Just spit on it and it should go in nice and easy, that's what I told her at least. I've got a 2002 Honda cr-v that I picked up cheap due to the previous owner letting it run low on oil. Replaced the timing chain, guides, tensioner, and valves that were bent. Right away started throwing vtc codes, the screens would clog with debris. Changed the oil another time with new cheap microgaurd filter and the cheapest 5w- 20 earl I could find and was fixed forever.

I have fault in sensor vvt but also I have big sound inside engine maybe from this sensor this sound?
