Timing chain

PO341 means sensors replacement.
Auto service checked timing chain pulley’s
and they are saying the engine needs to be
replaced.
But can’t they set it so arrows on timing
chain pully’s line up again by adjusting the
bottom pulley without changing the engine
.

ive changed about a dozen of them without issue i would find someone who knows what they are doing
