I have an 89 RS Convertible that came with 305. Will a 350 or 400 (388) bolt right in?

looking to upgrade the 170 HP 305 dog that came in this car. want to put a 350 or 388 stroker in it for increased HP. With these bolt in place of the 305 TBI. what else would I need to change? exhaust? the 350 and the 305 both had the THM700-R4 (4L60) 4 sp transmission that year. intake the same?

the 350 the lt1 will fit just have to change the motor mounts

hey john i have an 82 camaro that i put a 350 motor in it. i also added an electrical fuel pump instead of the mechanical pump. when i start my car she sounds great and i will put it in drive and start down the road she'll run great for about 2 miles then she sounds like its choking and dies. when i try to restart it in nuetral thers times it will run a lil rough and die when it is put in gear or there are times it won't start back up. what are your suggestions 3 Answers

Can i used 89 camaro iroc motor mount for 89 camaro rs v6 swap to v8-350? 7 Answers

The rs camaro didnt come with a 350, the iroc does. I had a 2.8 in it. Using a carburator. What all i have to change for the swap. Going with a 350 turbo transmission, will it line up right.

i have a 94 camaro 3.4 v6 the motor is basically shot after have 200k miles on it but i came across some body that has a carberated 305 i was wonderin if i could switch out my 3.4 v6 for the 305 and keep the transmission the same since i just got a new1 and if i can wat snags would i come across 2 Answers
