Car has no power and catches fire

Catches fire ( I would assume you mean smokes ) BUT sounds like you have a blocked catylitic converter Couple of tests for this - Have someone check your engine vacuum under acceleration should continually rise to about 25 inches of mercury not decrease as engine RPM is raised. Infared Temp tool - Input of Cat should be cooler than the output of cat ( Catylitic processes is working) Usually when there is a restriction causing loss of power you hear a rattling sound from under the vehicle also Good Luck
