i just replaced my old TBI throttle body and now she starts up and runs really good but when i put it in gear and go it has no power and dies after about 2 blocks does any one know what the deal is?

ya car ran excellent untill the fuel pump went out i replaced it and that same day my air breather caught fire and my car died.. i took it to my mechanic he said my throttle body was toast so i replaced it and now in in this situation arrgggggg

    I can hear the fuel pump priming when key is turned on. Fuel filter changed. It does fire up with a little gas poured down the Throttle body cheers Pete
