1995 freightliner won't start

Have 1995 Freightliner broke down mixed water
and oil. Already paid to have rebuilt. Head gasket
replaced all injectors and a lot of other work. Now
mechanic telling me electrical problem. They think
I can't afford any more mechanic fees need to sell.
Does anybody know where I can get this truck sold
as is. Already spent every penny I have don't want
to pay storage fees.

If the rebuild involved the injector pump, They might have gotten it out of time.....timing is off.....fuel is injected at the wrong time.....won't ignite. Also check to see the fuel valve comes open when you turn on the key....can hear a click or pull it open by hand if it's manual valve. Check fuel filters and transfer pump. These older trucks really don't have much "electricals". They are quite simple and no computer problems. I retired before that crap came along. I loved driving and working on them. Once I saw a rebuild where they put in the wrong height pistons and would not fire up due to low compression. We would have it on a block heater to make it start below 50 degrees. Surprisingly it had tons of power anyway. That's a beautiful truck you have. It would be a shame to give it away cheap.
