dune buggy will not start, 2275 VW

Buggy's been sitting for a year, lit it off, ran for about 3 minutes, stopped. then
would not start again. Drained out all old fuel, would not start, changed out
spark plugs, wires, distribute cap. Sprayed carburetor cleaned the carbs,
checked all wirier, still nothing.

Check the fuel filter. If the carb jets got gunked up then you may have to disassemble them for cleaning. Make sure the fuel pump is working too. Did you check for spark?
