Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix and
every once in a while the transmission
was slipping when going from stop to
start so someone flushed it for me and
then within a few hours the
transmission slipping really bad and
wouldn't even go in reverse so they
check the fluid and it was 2 quarts low
on transmission fluid and then it
seemed to drive okay for about 2 days
but now for the past week and a half it's
been slipping really bad the whole car
shudders when you go from the stop to
start almost every time.

If the transmission slips and the fluid is at the proper level, there is only one conclusion that comes to mind..... the transmission needs to be repaired, rebuilt or replaced.
