clutch bleeding

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is there some trick to bleeding the clutch system ? The bleeder screw at the slave cylinder is almost impossible to get to. Also, if you can open it, it is hard to get it back close after the fluid comes out.

That is probably the only way short of disconnecting the fluid lines, but I wouldn't recommend that.

There is NO other way to properly bleed the system on your vehicle. it takes two people to do and is best done using a vehicle hoist.
