My cj5 has Forest and third great but not second
it's a straight 6 with a t150 trans.'79 model

If the trans has external linkage a shift lever could have come loose. Internal linkage means a rebuild.

    My cj5 jeep has a 258 inline 6 it runs fine until you get over 45 then it cuts out and back fires out the exhaust if you stay on the gas what could be the problem
