91 ranger 3.0 starts runs well for a week or two then won't start.pull it to shop next morning it starts right up.

I'd check the age of your battery..these new tin-antimony ones last about 7 years before they stop accepting a charge...one might check the voltage as one needs a solid 12 volts to touch off a starter solenoid...reduced amperage, I believe is your problem...be sure the battery connections are not corroded...wirebrush them if the are not solid~ check with the multimeter.....you do not want to go in with reduced voltage~
