My 2006 Yukon Denali will not start. Does nothing when you turn the key

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 Yukon Denali will not start suddenly. Put a new battery in, it started twice after that and now will not start again. Nothing happens when you turn the key but everything else works just fine meaning the heater blows, radio works, all lights work, seat functions work but won't even try to start.

Try tapping on starter with hammer while starting vehicle at the same time if vehicle starts replace starter.

Check battery cable make sure they are right, could be the connectors for battery also, or if not turning over and when turn to on position and gas hand show on empty could be both fuel pump and ignition switch or one or the other
