Oil pressure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My oil pressure gauge says my pressure is way too
high but when we checked my oil i was a little past
the add line on the low side added a quart to get us
home but pressure is still high looked it up but am
not finding an answer online

Hmm, so I have to guess what kind of vehicle this is? Sorry, not today. Oil level has very little to do with pressure unless it is very low on oil.
