How hard would it be to put a Dodge Ram 3500
V10 and transmission into a Dodge Ram 1500

I would check first that the frame/crossmember can accept a V10. You're pretty much changing the entire drive train, bigger brakes, springs, rear diff. Not super difficult but a major project. I would also compare v10's frame to your 1500's, make sure it didn't need to be boxed for that engine's torque.
