My 95 Chevy Corsica needs a tune up and oil change but it was driving fine until yesterday morning. It will crank and stay crunk in park and neutral but soon as I put in drive and give it gas it stops

My mechanic says it could be my spark
plugs and wires or a sensor. Can't move
unless I tow all answers are welcomed

Yes what he says is true, but also he may run into a fuel pressure issue.
